I am a busy mum. I love to cook.

In my 20's I spent my time in the kitchen trying to learn new recipes and techniques and prepare elegant and delicious food. Now in my 40's with kids, a husband, a career and a home, I try to prepare food that's nutritious, palatable to the whole family and quick and easy to prepare.

Like many cooks, I am bored with the recipes I've been using for years. I get tired of making the same thing for dinner each week and I desire a little variety. Fortunately, I come from a family of good cooks.

It's been my experience that people who like to make food also like to discuss food and the really nice ones like to share recipes too! So that's what this website is all about. I'd like people to post their favourite recipes on this site for others to try and enjoy. I've set up some category tabs so finding the type of recipe you want is easy.

A couple of rules...

If it's not your recipe, please give credit where it is due.

If possible, please say how many servings each recipe makes.

Please only post recipes you have actually tried and that you like, not just things that sound good.

Please feel free to include your own notes and tips along with the original recipe.
